Frikadelli Racing wants to set further highlights in the Prototype Cup Germany
06.08.2024
After Klaus Abbelen and Felipe Laser celebrated their first joint podium result in the Protoype Cup Germany with second place overall in Zandvoort, the driver duo will continue in Hockenheim from 9-11 August 2024. On the 4.574 km circuit in Baden-Württemberg, they want to build on their strong performance with the #30 Ligier JS P320 and achieve further good results.
‘The podium finish in Zandvoort was obviously very nice and also a bit unexpected. But our setup changes bore fruit over the weekend and we were able to compensate for our lack of experience on the circuit. With the Hockenheimring and, above all, the Nürburgring a week later, we now have two tracks where we have different basic requirements. We will give everything for another podium,’ explains Team Principal Klaus Abbelen.
The starting signal in Hockenheim is given on Friday morning with two free practice sessions, before the first qualifying session begins from 13:40-13:55. The second qualifying session follows at the end of the day from 16:35-16:50. The third qualifying session continues on Saturday morning from 09:30-09:45, before the first race is on the programme in the afternoon from 13:50-14:50. The weekend will conclude with two more races on Sunday (10:35-11:35 and 15:15-16:15). Live coverage of the races will be available on the ADAC/Prototype Cup Germany YouTube channel.
